For the first time since moving to Baltimore, the Orioles (formerly the St. Louis Browns) won their first American League pennant with a 97-63 record – a comfortable nine-game cushion over the second-place Minnesota Twins. The Orioles proved to be too much for the Los Angeles Dodgers as they swept LA in four games to win the first ever World Series title for the city of Baltimore. Hall of Famer Frank Robinson was the catalyst for the Orioles, winning not only the Triple Crown, but also the American League MVP and World Series MVP.

Offered here is an Official American League Joseph E. Cronin stamped baseball that has been signed by 29 members of the 1966 Baltimore Orioles. Signatures include Hall of Famers Frank Robinson, Brooks Robinson, Jim Palmer and Luis Aparicio, while other signatures include Hank Bauer, Paul Blair, Gene Woodling, Harry Brecheen, Woodie Held, Moe Drabowsky, Dick Hall, John Miller, Stu Miller, Russ Snyder, Bob Johnson, Dave McNally, Billy Hunter, Curt Blefary, Sam Bowens, Steve Barber, Eddie Watt, Boog Powell, Wally Bunker, Davey Johnson and five others. All of the signatures have been signed in black pen and come with a LOA from JSA (BB63448).
