While the 1984 Boston Red Sox finished with an 86-76 record, they were laying the groundwork for what would be a run to the American League pennant just two short years later. 1984 was the rookie season for Roger Clemens and the outfield of Hall of Famer Jim Rice and stalwart Dwight Evans, along with the emergence of Hall of Famer Wade Boggs at third base would be a winning combination for the remainder of the 1980s.

Offered here is an Official American League Bobby Brown stamped baseball that has been signed by 29 members of the 1984 Boston Red Sox. Signatures on this ball include Hall of Famers Wade Boggs and Jim Rice, along with manager Ralph Houk, Johnny Pesky, Bruce Hurst, Eddie Yost, Roger Clemens, Dennis “Oil Can” Boyd, Steve Crawford, Bill Buckner, Rich Gale, Jackie Gutierrez, Glenn Hoffman, Rick Miller, Bob Ojeda, Bob Stanley, Jeff Newman, Gary Allenson, Rich Gedman, John Henry Johnson, Al Nipper, Ed Jurak, Walt Hriniak and six others. This ball displays some toning and all of the signatures have been signed in black pen. This comes with a LOA from JSA (BB63469).
