November Catalog Auction

The 1907 Postcard set issued by the Dietsche printing company of Detroit representing the Chicago Cubs seems far scarcer than those they issued for the hometown Tigers. Oddly enough, Detroit Tigers fans were not so interested in purchasing postcards representing the team that would hand them a crushing World Series defeat. Historically significant in their own right, these postcards were issued for the last World Series victory that Cubs would see to date. The key cards included have been graded as follows: Brown (VG-EX 4), Chance (VG-EX+ 4.5), Evers (EX 5), and Tinker (VG-EX 4). This offered set includes five cards that have been graded at the highest level that PSA has awarded examples of those cards. The entire makeup of the 15 card set can be viewed on PSA's set registry.
