Offered is a circa-1950’s New York Yankees autograph album with 30 signatures, including Hall of Famers Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, Whitey Ford and Casey Stengel. Other notable signatures in the vintage album include Hall of Famers Phil Rizzuto, Enos Slaughter, Tony Kubek and Jerry Coleman, as well as Don Larsen, Ralph Terry, Bob Richardson, Billy Martin, Elston Howard, Bobby Shantz, Frank Crosetti and Hank Bauer. There are 29 signatures in blue fountain pen on the 4½ x 6-inch slick multi-colored interior pages of the album. The 30th signature, Mantle’s, is in black fountain pen on white paper glued to an interior page, with the inscription by Mantle in black fountain pen “Best Wishes” above his signature. The 4¾ x 6 ½-inch white leatherette binding and cover features the legend “Autographs” silk-screened in gold on the front cover. The binding is reinforced with clear plastic tape on the front cover but is cracked at the back cover. This item comes with a LOA from Beckett Authentication.
