Presented is a vintage 1964 Dell Publishing “The Beatles” fold-out poster, issue number 2. The 18½ x 52-inch two color poster is printed in black and red on white paper and is a four-page foldout with black & white photographs of, from left to right, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, John Lennon and George Harrison. Each page features a head and shoulder photo of a Beatles member, along with a facsimile signature of their first name at the bottom right. On the first page, the McCartney photo, is the legend “The Beatles” printed in black on white, with the “Dell” logo in the upper left and the notation” No. 2” in black type, and the price “25c” in black type in the upper right.  At the lower right of the fourth page featuring Harrison, is the notation “Printed in U.S.A. Dell Publishing Co., Inc.” in black type. The fold-out poster is folded in half at the center and then in fourths. The back of the poster is blank. There are slight wear marks on some of the folds, but the poster is otherwise in good condition. The height of Beatlemania in the United States came during 1964, when the band first appeared in the U.S., starting with “The Ed Sullivan Show” and a live concert tour across the country.
