Owens inscribed “My best to you always – Jesse Owens” in black marker on a 2 x 6-inch blue paper cut. The Owens-signed cut is mounted at the lower center of a black matte with silver and white accents. Above the signed cut is an 8 x 10-inch black and white photo of Owens running on the track at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, Germany, en route to one of his four gold medals. He is wearing his white United States team singlet and shorts. At the top and bottom center is the legend “Jesse Owens” carved into the matte with silver and white accents.
