The first item in this lot is a Tom Seaver signature on an ONL White baseball. The Hall of Fame New York Mets pitcher signed his name in blue pen on the sweet spot. The second item in this lot is a Tom Seaver signature and inscription on a black & white photo of the Mets ace with the late Mets owner, Joan Whitney Payson. Seaver inscribed “With the Boss! Tom Seaver” in blue marker in the lower left of the 8 x 10-inch photo, taken on the first base side of Shea Stadium. The Seaver-signed photo is mounted at the top center of a white with navy-blue accents matte. Mounted at the lower center is a 2 x 6-inch blue and orange metal plaque engraved in light blue with the caption “Tom Seaver #41 New York Mets – Cincinnati Reds 1969 World Series Champion – 1967 NL Rookie of the Year – 5X NL Strikeout Champion – 12X All-Star – 3X NL Cy Young Award – 3X NL Wins Champion – 3X NL ERA Champion – Pitched no-hitter on 6/16/78 – Baseball Hall of Fame 1992”. The center of the plaque features a light blue Seaver facsimile signature. The Seaver-signed photo and plaque are displayed in a 19 x 23-inch black wood with glass frame.
