The future Hall of Famer LeBron James wore this pair of Nike Zoom LeBron 3 sneakers on April 28th, 2006, as “The Chosen One” played in the first road playoff game of his career against the Washington Wizards at MCI Center. James led the Cavaliers to a thrilling 97-96 victory, nailing the winning two-point jump shot with five seconds left to give Cleveland a two-games-to-one series lead against the Wizards. James dropped 41 points in the game, including 14 in the fourth quarter, with five rebounds, three assists, and two steals for the Eastern Conference’s four seed. James averaged an incredible 35.4 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in the series, a six-game victory for the Cavaliers in James’ first playoff appearance. James set a career-high in points per game in 2005-06, averaging 31.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game in his third NBA season.
The sneakers offered in this lot are white, navy, and gold NIke Zoom LeBron 3 sneakers. The shoes are a size 16, with gold Nike swooshes applied to the outside of the heels and “330” applied to the upper heels in gold. James’ personal logo is applied to the tongues. The aglets on the right shoe are red, while the aglets on the left shoe are gold. The shoes come with a LOA from Sports Investors Authentication photo matching them to the April 28th playoff game.
