The signatures, all in blue marker, represented the three “batteries” that produced three perfect games in Yankees history, from left to right Joe Girardi, David Cone (inscribed “P.G. 7-18-99” below his signature), Don Larsen (inscribed “W.S.P.G. 10-8-56”), Hall of Fame Yankees catcher Yogi Berra, David Wells (inscribed “PG 5.17.98”) and Jorge Posada. The players are captured standing left to right in their period-appropriate home Yankees uniforms on the pitcher’s mound at Yankee Stadium during the 2008 season prior to an Orioles vs. Yankees night game in the Bronx. The landmark rooftop frieze of Yankee Stadium is visible in the background at the left and right with a clear night sky overhead. The multi-signed 16 x 20-inch color photo is mounted at the center of a navy-blue with white accents matte. Mounted below the photo is a 1½ x 2-inch black metal plaque engraved in silver with the caption “Yankee Stadium Perfection The Final Game September 21, 2008”.
