Offered is a Don Mattingly signed photograph of the former New York Yankees first baseman fielding his position in a framed display. Mattingly signed his name in black marker in the lower center of the 16 x 20-inch color action photo with Mattingly, dressed in his road gray New York uniform at left, putting the tag on Julio Franco of the Cleveland Indians in a Major League Baseball game. The Mattingly-signed action photo is mounted in a white with black accent matte and displayed in a 21½ x 26-inch black plastic with clear plastic frame. This item comes with a 3½ x 5-inch color photo of Mattingly signing the photo. Nicknamed "Donnie Baseball”, Mattingly spent his entire 14-year career playing with the Yankees beginning in 1982. Mattingly was named to the American League All-Star team six times, and won nine Gold Glove Awards (an AL record for a first baseman). He won three Silver Slugger Awards, the 1984 AL batting title, and was the 1985 AL Most Valuable Player. He served as captain of the Yankees from 1991 through 1995, when he retired as a player.
