Offered is a Bobby Thomson and Ralph Branca dual-signed photograph commemorating the aftermath of the “Shot Heard Round the World” in a framed display. Thomson and Branca each signed their names in blue marker, with Thomson signed in the left center and Branca in the lower right of the photo, which depicts the Giants players gathered in celebration at home plate, a group of press photographers running towards them, while Branca walks off the mound towards Dodgers second baseman Jackie Robinson in the center foreground. The 16 x 20-inch black & white Photo File print is inscribed in the lower center “The Shot Heard ‘Round the World Oct. 3, 1951” in blue marker. The "Shot Heard 'Round the World" was the game-winning home run by Thomson, the New York Giants third baseman, off Branca, the Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher, at the Polo Grounds in New York City on October 3, 1951, to win the National League pennant. Thomson's dramatic three-run homer came in the ninth inning of the decisive third game of a three-game playoff for the pennant in which the Giants trailed, 4–1 entering the ninth, and 4–2 with two runners on base at the time of Thomson's at-bat. The game, which was the first televised nationally, was seen by millions of viewers across America and heard on radio by millions more, including thousands of American servicemen stationed in Korea, listening on Armed Forces Radio.

The dual-signed photo is mounted in the center of a black with white accents matte. Mounted below the photo is a 1 x 6-inch black metal plaque engraved in silver with the caption “Bobby Thomson – Ralph Branca “The Shot Heard Round the World” October 3, 1951”. At the left of the plaque is the interlocking “NY” gothic letters logo of the Giant carved into the matte, with the Dodgers “B” at the right.
