Presented is a bleacher seat section from Yankee Stadium’s right field stands. The 1½ x 9½ x 18-inch blue metal seat has a blue vinyl “cap” on the left edge and is mounted on a pair of 6 x 6 x 13½-inch black metal stanchions, which are attached to a 1 x 8 x 19-inch black wood base. The blue metal seat has some scratches in the center, a white paint mark on the right edge, and the worn number “11” decals in black and silver in the upper right top corner. The original Yankee Stadium was a stadium located in the Bronx, New York City. It was the home ballpark of the New York Yankees from 1923 to 1973 and then from 1976 to 2008. The stadium hosted 6,581 Yankees regular season home games during its 85-year history. It was demolished in 2010, with the Yankees completing the 2008 season before moving in 2009 to the “new” Yankee Stadium next door. The bleacher seat section presented was removed from the “old” Yankee Stadium in April 2009. This item comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (LH422447).
