Presented is a vintage Cleveland Indians collection including scorebooks, pins, accessories and a vintage uniform including jersey and pants. The first item in this collection is a vintage Indians cream-colored flannel Spalding jersey, with the legend “Indians” in red with navy-blue script across the chest and a red, white and navy-blue embroidered patch of the team’s mascot, Chief Wahoo, on the left sleeve. The second item in this collection is a matching pair of vintage cream-colored flannel Spalding baseball pants. The third item in this collection is a shadowbox with 38 Major League Baseball cloisonne press pins, including multiple World Series and All-Star Game press pins and a pair of Baseball Writers Association of America member pins. Also included are two Brooklyn Dodgers pins and one Football Writers Association of America Press pin. The pins are mounted in eight rows on a 9 x 12-inch red felt matte displayed in a 2 x 11 x 14-inch gold-painted with black accents wood with glass shadowbox. This collection includes two MacGregor Official 97 League baseball scorebooks labelled inside the front cover as “Official Scorer’s Book Printed for Baseball Writers’ Association of America Professional Baseball Division the MacGregor Co.”. One of the books is 4 ½ x 8-inches with a red vinyl cover printed gold with a baseball at the center, while the second is also 4 ½ x 8-inches with a black vinyl cover in the same manner but spiral bound. Each book features inscriptions in blue pen on early score pages from late 1950s and early 1960s baseball games. This collection also includes two loose baseball cards, a Topps Jim Piersall Cleveland Indians card and a 2005 Upper Deck Stan Musial Sunkist Fresh Snack card. The collection also includes three pieces of men’s jewelry, including a 1962 All-Star Game Press tie clasp, a Brooklyn Dodgers tie clasp, and a Cleveland Indians Chief Yahoo lapel pin with chain, as well as a Pepsi-Cola branded All-Star Baseball 1960 “Penguins” brand cigarette lighter in silver metal and a men’s bolo tie with a red and blue painted silver metal buckle with the face of Chief Wahoo.
