Offered is a Mickey Mantle signed copy of the sheet music to the 1956 Teresa Brewer pop music hit, “I Love Mickey” about the Hall of Fame New York Yankees centerfielder. Mantle signed his name in blue marker in the upper right of the 9 x 12-inch sheet music cover. The blue-printed cover features a photograph of Mantle (at right) with a baseball bat over his right shoulder, wearing open collared shirt and slacks, looking into the eyes of the young singer, who is smiling broadly looking over her left shoulder at Mantle, dressed in a New York jersey and skirt, holding a bat and wearing a Yankees cap with a microphone hanging to her right. Please note that the front cover includes facsimile signatures of both Brewer and Mantle in the photo. Brewer, who had considerable success as a recording artist, song writer and performer in the 1950s, co-wrote "I Love Mickey", recorded in 1956, about Mantle, who appeared on the record with Brewer. It was also reported that the two had developed a mutual attraction at the time. This Mantle-signed sheet music is mounted in a green with gray matte and displayed in a 13½ x 16½ -inch brown wood with glass frame.
