The widow of the late musician and songwriter inscribed “Love X Yoko 2004” in black marker on the left side of the “left” shoe, below the silk-screened in green, blue and black logo that features an illustration by Ono of Lennon sitting on a world globe with a facsimile signature beneath. The size 10 white canvas sneaker has white rubber toe and a brown rubber sole, with the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star logo silk-screened in gold on a white-leather patch sewn on the right side. The white shoelaces have black plastic tips with the legend “Peace 2004” silk-screened in gold. The Ono-signed and inscribed sneaker comes with a paper tag attached at the top with caption “John Lennon All Star Peace Chuck John Lennon’s beliefs live on in his music and now in a limited-edition Chuck Taylor All Star. Bringing people together throughout the world in unity and peace.” Red Japanese characters spelling “Peace” are embroidered on the tongue.
