Davis, playing in his age-36 season, crushed 28 home runs with 95 RBI and a .292 batting average in the last of his seven seasons with the Angels. Davis added 24 doubles, 73 runs scored, and 86 walks in a well-rounded campaign. Davis retired after the 1999 season, finishing his decorated career with 350 home runs and a .274 batting average. This offered Angels road jersey is a gray button-down, with “ANGELS” sewn on the chest in navy, red, and white tackle twill. “DAVIS” and his number “44” are sewn on the back of the jersey in navy, red, and white tackle twill. A “CA” logo patch is sewn on the left sleeve. Navy piping accents the chest and sleeves. A Wilson and “50 96” tags are sewn on the front left tail. A “+2 Slv / 2 Inch X-Length” flag is attached to the Wilson tag. Davis has signed the back of the jersey in black marker, inscribing “1996” below his signature. This jersey comes with a LOA from Beckett Authentication Services and a LOA from noted baseball game used jersey expert William Henderson.
