Written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the same team behind 2014’s controversial “The Interview”, “Superbad” was a smash upon its release in 2007. The film was the latest in a string of hits for Apatow Productions and helped launch the career of Academy Award nominee Jonah Hill. This 3-piece costume was worn by Hill’s character “Seth” throughout the film. Pants are grey plaid pants with blue and black striping, with studio blood staining the right thigh. Interior left pocket inscribed with “HERO STUNT NO SMEAR BLOOD”. Gray cotton t-shirt, tagged by Sony Studios costume department, dated 12 Oct 06, gives production and costumer name. Additional tag on t-shirt gives information regarding character, actor, scene #, Chg. # and Day #, with inscription that reads” Sleeping”. Also includes a blue western t-shirt with light silver piping, 6 pearl snap buttons down the front and 5 pearl snap buttons on each sleeve. This production-used costume is in good condition and can be seen in the promotional material and poster art for the film.
