In the 1990s there was no greater running back than Emmitt Smith. During his decade with the Dallas Cowboys, Smith teamed up with quarterback Troy Aikman and wide receiver Michael Irvin to bring three World Championships to Big D. The all-time rushing leader has a momentous season 1992-93 when he won the rushing title with 1,713 yards, breaking the Cowboy’s franchise record at the same time. His carries led the Cowboys to the Super Bowl where their win made Smith the only player in NFL history to win the rushing title and the Super Bowl in the same season. The culmination of leading the league in rushing is this Mackey Award. The 14-inch tall zinc statue was cast by R.S. Owens and features a classic football player standing atop a black base with a silvered plaque proclaiming, “EMMITT SMITH  DALLAS COWBOYS  NFC Leading Rusher 1992 MACKEY AWARD”. The award shows light wear from display and age with edge scuffs to the base and light tarnishing on the engraved plaque. A prestigious award that was the forerunner to Smith’s ultimate achievement: breaking Walter Payton’s career record of 16,726 rushing yards. This award comes with a signed LOA from Emmitt Smith and a hologram from Prova for the use.
