One of the most important movies in cinema history, Star Wars has impacted numerous generations of cinephiles with its storytelling, characters, and interpretation of outer space. Opening with a modest beginning in May of 1977, the Star Wars franchise exploded after its release and is the most successful movie franchise in movie history. Offered here is an incredible piece of Star Wars history as this gigantic 27 x 40 movie poster dates back to its release in the late 1970’s and has been signed by seven cast members including Jeremy Bulloch (inscribed “Boba Fett”), David Prowse in gold (inscribed “is Darth Vader”), Richard LeParmentier (inscribed “Admiral Motti”), Peter Mayhew (inscribed “Chewbacca”), Garrick Hagon (inscribed “Biggs”), Mike Quinn (inscribed “Nien Numb”) and Kenny Baker (inscribed “R2-D2”).

The poster has “STAR WARS” arched across the top with an image of Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher as Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, while an image of Harrison Ford as Han Solo is below them. Darth Vader is to the right wielding his red light saber with three Stormtroopers below him. An image of a landspeeder with C-3PO and R2-D2 on the back is in the left center, with images of Jawas on the bottom left and an image of Chewbacca on the bottom right. Along the left side is an image of Sir Alec Guiness as Obi-Wan “Ben” Kenobi. This poster has edge wear, some tears and tape marks, especially along the corners. There are several fold marks. An incredible piece of movie history, signed by several cast members and this comes with a LOA from JSA (BB15896) for the signatures.
