Former centerfielder Willie Davis played from 1960 to 1979, mostly with the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1976, he played for the San Diego Padres, where he appeared in 141 games, batting a solid .268 with 5 home runs and 46 RBI, all at the age of 36. Davis used this Hillerich & Bradsby S2 Bicentennial model bat during the 1976 season. This bat displays outstanding game use with a crack on the top of the back barrel. There are ball marks, cleat imprints and checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact that are present on the barrel. Davis’ number “3” is handwritten in black marker on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B19974) for the game use and has been given a very high grade of GU 9.
