Albert Pujols capped off his St. Louis years with his second World Championship. In the series against the Rangers, Pujols achieved baseball immortality by hitting three homers in a single game, something only Babe Ruth and Reggie Jackson had done before. Pujols’ final season in St. Louis saw the slugger hit 37 home runs with 99 RBI and a .299 batting average as he left the Cardinals the winner of two World Series titles and a 3-time National League MVP. Offered here is a Marucci AP5-M model bat that good game use and us un-cracked. There are ball marks and black ink transfers present on the barrel. The bat’s manufacture date “4/12/11” and Pujols’ number “5” is stamped on the knob. Pujols has signed his name on the barrel in black marker and inscribed “3X M.V.P”. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B07532) for the game use and has been given a very high grade of GU 9, plus a LOA from JSA for the signature.
