Graded NM-MT 8 by PSA. This is one of just two examples at its tier (with one graded higher) among a scant total of five copies recorded in PSA's census reporting. The almost never-seen "Room 222" cards – featuring black-and-white photographs that resemble well-chosen publicity shots – enjoyed little or no commercial distribution. Perhaps a couple of packs made it to the shelf at the mythical "Brooklyn candy store," but, for the most part, fans of the schoolroom-themed television comedy were left without gum cards of their favorite show. The few pieces from this issue that have been acquired by the hobby are prized for their scarcity as well as their nostalgic subjects. This is a seldom-offered, captivating entry from an intriguing and exceptionally elusive test issue product. Near Mint to Mint condition.
