New York Yankees right fielder and power hitter Aaron Judge wore this right-hand batting glove during the 2014 MiLB season. The one-time 31st round draft pick of the Oakland Athletics played for the A+ Tampa Yankees and A Charleston RiverDogs in 2014, combining for 17 homers, 78 RBI, and a .308 batting average in his first season of professional baseball. Judge would reach the Major Leagues by 2016 and turned in one of the greatest rookie seasons in baseball history in 2017, setting a new MLB-record with 52 home runs as he easily claimed the American League Rookie of the Year trophy. The batting glove offered in this lot is a gray and navy Under Armour right-hand glove, with a white Under Armour logo affixed to the top of the glove. Judge has signed the palm in black marker, inscribing “2014 GU” under his signature. The glove comes with an Anderson Authentics LOA (2493) and a JSA LOA (BB34873).
