New York Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo wore this blue New York Mets cap on April 15th, 2019, for a Jackie Robinson Day matchup against the Philadelphia Phillies at Citizens Bank Park. Nimmo hit leadoff for the Mets against Aaron Nola and the Phillies, connecting on a sixth inning solo home run for his third longball of the 2019 season and 26th of his career. Nimmo drew three walks, including one intentional, as the Mets earned a close 7-6 win over Philadelphia. Noah Syndergaard left the ballpark with a no-decision, while Luis Avilan earned the win and Edwin Diaz closed out the 11th frame for his sixth save of the season.
