The Utah Stars were in the American Basketball Association (ABA) from 1970-76 after previously being located in Los Angeles and Anaheim. This warm-up jacket has been dated to the 1973-75 season to Bruce Seals, who played for Utah during the 1973-74 and 1974 and 1975 seasons. This white short-sleeved sand-knit snap-front jacket with a collar features the Utah Stars logo across the back in red, white and blue. A decorative blue stripe runs from the left shoulder down and across the chest and down the right side with a parallel red stripe that runs on the right side. A Stevens-Brown Sporting Goods Co. of Salt Lake City, UT tag is stitched into the back collar with undetermined black marker identification on that tag. The back has six Velcro ends for use of a nameplate that is not with this jacket. This jacket displays heavy game use and comes with a LOA from MEARS (317686) for the use.
