Offered is a 1969 World Series Champion New York Mets team-signed natural color Rawlings Big Stick baseball bat with 17 signatures. The 1969 Mets won the World Series in a major upset of the heavily favored Baltimore Orioles. The Mets, starting with their first season in 1962, were the perennial losers, until the “Miracle Mets” of the ’69 season arrived and captured the hearts and imaginations of baseball fans around the world. All of the signatures have been signed in blue pen and include Hall of Famers Tom Seaver (who signed it Tom “Terrifc” Seaver), Ralph Kiner and Bob Murphy, with other signatures including Donn Clendenon (inscribed “69 W.S. MVP), Jerry Koosman, Cleon Jones, Bud Harrelson, Jerry Grote, Jim McAndrew, Ed Charles, Ron Swoboda, Wayne Garrett, Al Weis, Duffy Dyer, J.C. Martin, Al Jackson and Ed Kranepool.
