Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant closed out his legendary career in 2016. Coming straight out of Lower Merion High School outside of Philadelphia, Bryant finished his stellar career with five NBA championships, two NBA Finals MVPs, one NBA MVP, was an 18-time All-Star, an 11-time All-NBA First Team selection, and is the all-time leading scorer in Lakers history. Bryant’s penultimate season was in 2014-15 when at the age of 36, still averaged 22.3 points per game.
Bryant was issued this Los Angeles Lakers purple road uniform – jersey and shorts for the 2014-15 season. The purple Adidas Climacool soft mesh jersey is a size 4XL (LENGTH +4”) jersey and has the Adidas tag and NBA Authentics tag with the code “LLA02390” sewn on the bottom front tail. “LAKERS” and “BRYANT” are sewn on in yellow and white tackle twill while his number 24 is sewn on the front and back in white mesh with yellow embroidered outlines on a puprple tackle twill backing. The collar and open arms are edged with a thin yellow band and each side has a thick yellow vertical stripe outlined in white and yellow. The NBA logo is embroidered at the base of the neck above “BRYANT” and the back collar has a ribbed purple band with a 1 x 1 ½ inch gold patch sewn on the outside and inside that has the “16x” marking for the franchise’s 16 NBA titles. The matching purple shorts are a size 3XL and the Adidas tag is sewn on the inside waist with a “LENGTH +2”” flag. The shorts have thick vertical yellow stripes outlined in white with thin yellow borders. The Lakers “L” logo is on the bottom yellow sides. The NBA logo is on the upper right leg. This uniform set comes with a LOA from MEARS for the game issue.
