Christian Yelich, the 2018 National League MVP, used this Louisville Slugger C271 model bat during the 2010 season, when he was in the minor leagues in the Florida Marlins system with both Greensboro in Single A and the Gulf Coast Marlins team. Yelich appeared in 12 total games and had 47 at-bats with 17 hits for a .362 average as an 18-year-old. This C271 Pro Stock model bat has been attributed to Yelich by PSA/DNA and displays excellent game use. This un-cracked bat has ball marks, white leather scuffs and blue ink transfers on the barrel and has been taped on the lower handle to enhance the grip. The bat’s manufacture date “3/29/10” has been stamped on the knob. Yelich has signed his name on the barrel in silver marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B24792) for the game use and a COA from JSA (H77139) for his signature.
