Former outfielder Vladimir Guerrero brought his offensive firepower to an already dynamic Texas Rangers lineup to start the 2010 season. Guerrero’s only season in Texas saw the slugger hit .300 with 29 home runs and 115 RBI as helped the Rangers reach the 2010 World Series. Guerrero used this special Mother’s Day pink Louisville Slugger C243 model bat during the May 9th, 2010 game. Guerrero went hitless in this game, but had his 26th RBI of the 2010 season as the Rangers defeated the Kansas City Royals 6-4 in Texas. This bat displays solid game use and is un-cracked. There are bat rack streaks on the barrel and a heavy coating of pine tar on the upper handle/lower barrel. There is a mark on the handle that identifies the grain, which has been mandatory per Major League Baseball for all maple bats since 2009. The knob has the bat’s manufacture date “42610” stamped and Guerrero’s number “27” handwritten in blue marker. This comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (LH794143), authenticating that Guerrero used this bat during the May 9th, 2010 game.
