Former outfielder Nick Swisher wore this New York Yankees’ road jersey during the 2010 season and for the final time in Game 1 of the 2010 ALCS on October 15th. 2010 was Swisher’s only All-Star season as he hit 29 home runs with 89 RBI and a .288 average. This size 46 road gray button-down jersey was manufactured by Majestic and features “NEW YORK” sewn on across the chest in navy and white tackle twill. There is a special “George M. Steinbrenner III GMS “THE BOSS”” black oval patch sewn on above the “OR” in memory of Yankees owner George Steinbrenner who passed away on July 13, 2010. The Majestic tag with “2010”, “46” and “-1 “slv” flags are sewn on the bottom front left tail. The back of the jersey has Swisher’s number “33” sewn on in navy and white tackle twill and an MLB logo patch in Yankees’ colors. The sleeves have navy/white/navy stripes on the end and the left sleeve has a black circle patch for “BOB SHEPPARD THE VOICE OF YANKEE STADIUM” and a black armband in memory of former manager Ralph Houk. Please note that most of the white-lettered stitching in the Bob Sheppard memorial patch is missing with “BOB” and “RD” still intact. This comes with a LOA from Steiner Sports (181187) for the game use and an MLB Authenticated hologram (FJ136283), which authenticated that Swisher wore this jersey during Game 1 of the 2010 ALCS on October 15th, 2010.
