Don’t let New York Mets’ pitcher Jacob deGrom’s 10-9 record in 2018 fool you. If ever there was a case where a pitcher could sue his team for lack of run support, it would be the 2018 version of deGrom. deGrom, despite his 10-9 record, was the National League Cy Young due to his microscopic 1.70 ERA, 269 strikeouts and a WHIP of .912. One of his 269 strikeouts was when he used this offered Official Major League Robert D. Manfred, Jr. stamped baseball to strikeout Los Angeles Dodgers’ slugger Yasiel Puig in the top of the 5th inning of the June 23rd, 2018 game at Citi Field in New York. deGrom threw this ball for four pitches, including the last two strikes on Puig, a ball to the next batter Yasmani Grandal and a foul ball hit by Grandal that forced this ball to be taken out of play. This baseball displays excellent use with some dirt marks on the seams and other abrasion marks. This comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JC079818), which authenticates the four pitches Jacob deGrom threw with this baseball.
