Former outfielder David Justice led the surprise turnaround of the perennial doormats that were the Atlanta Braves, when they went from last place in 1990 to first place in 1991 and pushed the Minnesota Twins to a seven-game World Series that ended on a walk-off hit in the bottom of the 10th inning in favor of Minnesota. Justice played in 109 games during the 1991 season, where he batted a solid .275, hitting 21 home runs and driving in 87.

Justice wore this road gray button-down jersey during the 1991 season. This size 44 Wilson jersey features “Atlanta” sewn on across the chest in red and navy tackle twill with a tomahawk paraph in red and navy tackle twill with gold and navy accent stitching. Navy/red/navy piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons and along the sleeve ends. A soft white lining is around the inner placket for player comfort and the Wilson tag with a “44” flag is sewn on the front left tail. Below the Wilson tag is a gray patch with “91”. The back has “JUSTICE” sewn on in navy tackle twill on a matching gray nameplate and his number “23” sewn below in red and navy tackle twill. The left sleeve has “JWM” sewn in black tackle twill in memory of longtime Braves executive John Mullen. This jersey comes with a LOA from noted baseball game used jersey expert William Henderson for the game use.
