The former Cubs hurler went 19-4 with two shutouts, adding 177 strikeouts to a miniscule 20 walks for the 101-61 Braves. Maddux was an All-Star and took home one of his incredible 18 Gold Glove awards. The peerless Maddux finished his career with 355 wins and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014 on his first ballot.
