Going into the 2019 season, it became apparent that Hall of Famer Vladimir Guerrero’s son, Vladimir, Jr., was looking like a chip off the old block. Junior was ranked as the top prospect in the minor leagues and he was hitting AAA pitching at a .367 clip when he was called up to Toronto. Vlad Jr was voted to the AL All-Star team in July and wound up breaking the single round home run record. He finished up his rookie season with a .272 average, 15 home runs and 69 RBI. Offered here is a Louisville Slugger C243 model bat that was used by Guerrero during the 2019 season. This bat displays outstanding game use and has a crack on the handle. There are ball marks, stitch impressions and blue ink transfers present on the barrel. There is a moderate coating of pine tar on the upper handle and the lower handle has a yellow Lizard Skins to enhance the grip. The bat’s manufacture date “01/18/19”, “MLB BIRCH” and “34/32” are stamped on the knob. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B24809) for the game use and has been given a very high grade of GU 9.5.
