The Beatles staged their third concert tour of America in August 1966, and it was the last commercial tour they would ever undertake. Lasting a total of 19 performances, the final ever Beatles concert was held on August 29, 1966 at San Francisco’s Candlestick Park. There they played 11 songs, and while the band members knew it was their final ever paid concert, no one else realized it at the time. If they did, more than 25,000 tickets would have been sold in the 42,500-seat venue. One of these available tickets is presented here and is very special as it features the headshots of all four members (left to right) Ringo, John, Paul and George with names under the images. Measuring 2.5 x 5.75 inches, the ticket is a true rarity and a must for any Beatles fan. This ticket is housed in a plastic encasement for its protection and preservation.
