Offered here is a personal check signed by the legendary Green Bay Packers coach Vince Lombardi. The check was signed in 1960 from his personal account with Kellogg Citizens National Bank – the same bank he would later use with the Green Bay Packers. 1960 was Lombardi’s second season in Green Bay and that year the Packers made it all the way to the NFL Championship game before losing in heartbreaking fashion to the Philadelphia Eagles 17-13. Lombardi signed this check in blue pen on the signature line and the check was made out to “J.B. Littlejohn” in the amount of “$15.00” and dated “7-78-1960”. This check has been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA (84100738) and Lombardi’s signature has been graded a MINT 9.
