Paul O’Neill began his career with the Cincinnati Reds where he played from 1985 through 1992 before his eventual trade to the New York Yankees that many argue was the catalyst for the great Yankee teams of the 1990’s. Offered here is O’Neill’s Louisville Slugger M110 model bat that dates to the 1986-89 seasons where he combined to bat .261 and averaged 10 home runs and 44 RBI as he was getting his career off to a start. O’Neill’s Louisville Slugger M110 bat displays outstanding game use and has a crack in the handle. There are ball marks, black ink transfers and slight checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact present on the barrel. The handle has been taped in a criss-cross pattern with thin strips of tape. Please note that some of the tape is loose from the handle. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17637) for the game use and has been given a very high grade of GU 9.
