Former Major Leaguer Manny Sanguillen spent his last season of his first stint with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1976, where he batted .290 with 2 home runs and 36 RBI. Sanguillen used this Hillerich & Bradsby U1 Bicentennial model bat during the 1976 season. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, black ink transfers and black bat rack streaks present on the barrel. The handle has been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip and Sanguillen’s number “35” is handwritten in black marker on the knob. Sanguillen has added his signature in bold black marker on lower barrel to the left of the H&B trademark. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B17349) for the game use and has been given the highest possible grade of GU 10, plus a LOA from Beckett Authentication for Sanguillen’s signature.
