The Hall of Fame forward Kevin Garnett wore this pair of black Anta KG6 sneakers in 2015. The legendary preps-to-pros star was traded from the Brooklyn Nets to the Minnesota Timberwolves in February of 2015, playing five games for Minnesota in 2014-15. “KG” played the final season of his career for the Timberwolves in 2015-16, ending his career with averages of 17.8 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. Garnett won the 2003-04 NBA Most Valuable Player trophy with the Timberwolves in 2003-04 and won the 2008 NBA Finals while a member of the Boston Celtics. Garnett was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020.
The Anta KG6 sneakers offered in this lot are black, with a silver Anta logo bearing a black “KG6” design applied to either side of both heels. A black “KG6” logo is applied to both heels. A portrait of Garnett is located on both tongues. The shoes are a size 16.5 and come with a LOA from Resolution Photomatching who have photo matched these sneakers that were worn by Garnett.
