The Hall of Fame ice hockey legend Wayne Gretzky has signed this pair of JOFA Edmonton Oilers gloves. Gretzky won four Stanley Cup titles with the Oilers, leading Alberta’s finest to a legendary decade in the 1980’s. The greatest scorer in NHL history, Gretzky accumulated 2,857 points in his iconic NHL career. Gretzky’s number “99” was retired league-wide following “The Great One’s” departure from the sport, and the Ontario native was inducted into the International Ice Hockey Hall of Fame immediately following his retirement in 1999. The JOFA gloves offered in this lot are white, navy, and orange, with “W. Gretzky” embroidered in white on the navy wrists. Gretzky’s number “99” is printed in orange on each thumb. Gretzky has signed the wrist of the right glove in silver marker. The gloves come with STICKER ONLY from Upper Deck (BAM53782).
