The “chase” card phenomenon – through which special and valuable cards are seeded within packs under specified ratios – have brought extraordinary creativity to the hobby, and they’ve helped to capture the fascination of a new, young generation of collectors. The cards are extremely restricted in quantity (which ensures exclusivity) and some – like the offered showpiece – are incredibly desirable, limited edition collectibles. This fabulous Panini 2017 National Treasures "Signature Booklet" card features signatures attributed to twelve MLB stars. The lineup includes Andrew Benintendi, Alex Bregman, Ian Happ, Cody Belinger, Yoan Moncada, Dansby Swanson, Aaron Judge, Bradley Zimmer, Franklin Baretto, Josh Bell, Lewis Brinson and Trey Mancini. To accommodate all of its relics the card is fashioned in a fold-over arrangement providing four attached, 2-1/2” x 3-1/2” surfaces that close to standard-card size. Opening the piece reveals the twelve separate pieces, integrated into the card, which are accompanied by images of the respective athletes. Text on the outside highlights Panini’s warranty for the authenticity of the signatures, and serves as the item's COA. This unique, limited-edition piece is serial-numbered "02/10." Legitimately rare, by design, this much-coveted piece stands as a superlative "chase" card, in a pack-fresh state of preservation.
