Presented is a lot of three 1929 World Series tickets for Games 3, 4 and 5. Connie Mack’s Philadelphia Athletics took the 1929 World Series, four games to one, over the Chicago Cubs. The first item in this lot is a ticket to Game 3 of the 1929 World Series, played October 11, 1929 at Shibe Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, won by the Cubs, 3-1. The 2½ x 5-inch green paper ticket is perforated and loose at the left edge and printed in black and red type. The second item in this lot is a ticket to Game 4 of the 1929 World Series, played October 12, 1929 at Shibe Park and won by the A’s, 10-8. The 2½ x 5-inch green paper ticket is perforated and loose at the left edge and printed in black and red type. The third item in this lot is a ticket to Game 5 of the 1929 World Series, played October 14, 1929 at Shibe Park and won by the A’s, 3-2, to clinch the World Series title. The 2½ x 5-inch green paper ticket is perforated and loose at the left edge and printed in black and red type.
