Offered here is an original 1964 Ideal “THE MUNSTERS” hand puppet box. The box has a clear plastic opening that would have displayed one of the character puppets that were released in 1964 and surrounding the opening is a drawing of the gates leading to the Munster’s estate. Below is a yellow border with “THE MUNSTERS HAND PUPPET” with the Ideal logo on the lower right corner. The right side has cartoon of Grandpa Munster over a cauldron with “THE MUNSTERS” in black centered in a yellow circle and “HAND PUPPET” in blue. The opposite side has a rendering of Herman Munster next to a tree with “THE MUNSTERS” in black centered in a yellow circle and “HAND PUPPET” in blue. The back has a red background with a black and white image of the cast. The box is in fair condition with some tears on the top and corner and edge wear.
