It was the first year of Magic Johnson and the Showtime era was under way for the Los Angeles Lakers as the 1979-80 finished with a 62-20 record and defeated the Phoenix Suns, Seattle SuperSonics and the Philadelphia 76ers en route the title. Offered here is a Wilson Official NBA ball that has been signed by 10 members of the 1980 NBA champion Lakers. Hall of Famers Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Magic Johnson have signed this ball in black marker and the remaining signatures include Norm Nixon, Michael Cooper, Marty Byrnes, Jamaal Wilkes, Oliver Mack (printed), Jim Chones, Spencer Haywood and Brad Holland (printed). This ball comes with its original Wilson box and a LOA from JSA for the signature.
