The late Pop-Art artist signed his name in silver paint pen “Max 95” in an inscribed box on a panel of the brown pebbled-leather commemorative football. The artist inscribed the football to “Adam”, also in silver marker, above his signature and inscription. The German-American artist is known for using bright colors in his work. Works by Max are associated with the visual arts and culture of the 1960s, particularly psychedelic art and pop art. The ball features the Super Bowl XXIX logo in black below the Wilson logo in gold and black. The ball is emblazoned in black with the caption “National Football League San Francisco 49ERS vs San Diego Chargers Miami, FL – January 29, 1995”.
