San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey wore this pair of Nike cleats on July 5th, 2019 against the St. Louis Cardinals at Oracle Park. Posey grabbed two hits, both singles, and scored a run in San Francisco’s 9-4 loss to the Cardinals on July 5th. Posey scored in the bottom of the first inning on Kevin Pillar’s single, cutting the San Francisco deficit to 3-2 at the time. Posey, the 2012 National League Most Valuable Player, hit .257 with seven homers, 38 RBI, and 24 doubles in 2019.

The cleats offered in this lot are “Stars and Stripes” themed high-top Nike cleats. Nike swoosh logos are applied to both shoes, while an image of an eagle clutching a Nike swoosh in its talons below “1776” is applied to the upper strap. The shoes are a size 11.5. Posey’s number “28” is handwritten on the tag inside the tongue in black marker. Posey has signed both shoes in black marker. The cleats each come with an MLB Authenticated hologram (JD815442 & JD815443).
