Chicago Cubs slugger Sammy Sosa closed the book on 2002 by leading the National League with 49 home runs and 122 runs scored. Offered here are individual batting gloves that are for the right hand used by Sosa during the 2002 season. These size XL gloves are black and were made by Fila. Each glove is made of leather, synthetic leather with Spandex and Velcro wrist straps. The gloves display light game use and have “21 SOSA” embroidered on the index fingers in white. The thumbs have a pad and “FILA” is embroidered in white on the wrist strap and vertically along the middle finger. The Fila logo is embroidered in white and red on the back hands. One glove shows more use than the other with more discoloration of the outside ring finger. Sosa signed one of the gloves in faded blue pen. These comes with a LOA from J.T. Sports for the game use and a LOA from JSA for the signature.
