The Hall of Fame shortstop Derek Jeter has signed this white 1996 World Series Champions New York Yankees cap. Jeter, the 1996 American League Rookie of the Year, led the Yankees to autumn success in his first full season, helping the Yankees win a historic six-game series against the Atlanta Braves in the Fall Classic. Jeter, along with Jorge Posada, Andy Pettitte, and Mariano Rivera, formed the legendary “Core Four”, winning five total World Series titles for the Yankees as they experienced their greatest success as a franchise since the days of Mickey Mantle in the 1990’s.
