Former Detroit Tigers second baseman Lou Whitaker used this Rawlings model bat during the 1988 season when he hit .275 with 12 home runs and 55 RBI in 115 games. This bat displays excellent game use and is un-cracked. There are ball marks, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs on the barrel and the handle has been taped in a spiral pattern to enhance the grip. The knob has also been taped and Whitaker’s number “1” is handwritten in black marker on the tape. Whitaker has signed his name in silver marker on the barrel. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (28082) and a COA from Beckett Authentication (V48044) for the signature.
