The Hall of Fame centerfielder Mickey Mantle has signed and inscribed this pinstriped New York Yankees number “7” home jersey. Mantle played his entire career with the Yankees, hitting 536 home runs in 18 seasons and earning immortality in Yankee Stadium. A seven-time World Series champion and three-time American League MVP, Mantle was the most popular athlete in America during his legendary career. Mantle was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974. This offered Yankees jersey features New York’s iconic “NY” logo sewn on the chest in navy tackle twill. Mantle’s number “7” is sewn on the back in the same fashion. A Wilson size “44” tag is sewn on the front left tail, while a “Mantle 86 1” year tag is sewn on the back inside collar. Mantle has signed the upper right chest in black marker, inscribing “To Mark / Best Wishes” above his signature. The jersey comes with a LOA from JSA.
